Well,Espinoza got rocked last night not making it out of the 1st inning.....and I don't care at all.
But,did he come out healthy?
THAT I do care about.

Saw a note that:
Dominican Summer League begins on May 30th ... so more to follow starting in a week
Arizona Rookie league either starts on Jun 23 or 30th with the Padres still fielding two teams ... so about a month before that lands on the radar.

Thanks for the info! Is AZL 2 teams for Pads confirmed somewhere?

Gore started tonight .... not good if you get past the top line.
Through 3 innings: 0 runs; 1 hit; 4 strikeouts ... looks good BUT going deeper into the performance ... 65 pitches and ONLY 31 strikes (less than 50%) resulting in 5 walks.

No idea if Gore himself has just gotten out of sync or the Padres development are trying to modify his delivery to be more effective at the major league level and that has him out of sync. Either way ... not looking ready for the ML any time soon.

Kid's having a hard time finding the plate. Hope he finds it soon.....
