Kevin Charity

Kevin has written for MadFriars since 2015 along with feature articles for FoxSports San Diego.  The East County native was a frequent – and popular – guest on the 5.5 Podcast when it existed. Kevin has also appeared regularly on the Ben and Woods Show on 97.3 The Fan. Contrary to popular belief, former Padres farmhand Rocky Gale does not have a restraining order against him.

Travis Barnett

Travis was a columnist for Pirates Prospects and co-founded Padres Prospectus prior to joining MadFriars. As you can see by the new design and structure of the site, he brought much needed technical expertise that has been greatly appreciated. His ability to teach the old dogs some new tricks makes up for him being the only MadFriar who is not originally from America’s Finest City.

Marcus is the one member of the MadFriars staff which Poway High School will proudly claim. Based in Texas, he was previously a co-founder and writer for Padres Prospectus. For his day job, Marcus works with first graders which has proved invaluable in preparing him to deal with David.
