Did hear some discussion that for these elite players getting mega contract that set them for life … the extra dollar have less impact on the decision that the comfort level they have where they sign.

Turner is an East Coast guy and had a long run in WASH and he was just more comfortable there (wife and he were likely on the same page). Got some reports that they did not like CA … LA specifically but not everyone loves the CA lifestyle.

Judge made a good move if you consider Yankee Stadium fits him better than PETCO and the NL West parks. Also, Judge did want to be a lifetime Yankee … HOF with the NYY greats … plaque in monument park in CF. Probably makes more money in a NY media market than in SD.

As I mentioned earlier, there is nothing that SD can offer than can compete with the lore that comes with being a lifetime NYY.

You would have to figure that they are going to land someone soon.

And I think that as soon as we see the first SD move, there will be 3 or 4 more follow up moves. AJ just needs his first domino to fall, and then he can start his rush of moves he already has planned.

An OF of Benintendi, Tatis, and Soto, and an INF of Machado, Kim, Arraez, Crone, with Vasquez behind the plate works for me.

Berti DH/Super Util, Benintendi, Machado, Soto, Tatis, Crone, Vasquez, Brantley, Kim sounds like a pretty solid batting order
