AJP should have done a Peralta deal tbh.. Bird in Hand.  Still go big..but Peralta is an upgrade in hand... have a plan A ..plan B and a fallback add...Peralta the perfect fallback add for us

If true … implies that a 1B/DH type bat is not being pursued. With Hosmer around, Voit around, and Myers coming back … not likely both Voit and Myers getting dealt … so probably write off Bell, Mancini, and the like.
