Hassell or Merrill...their choice

Knerr or Wilson their choice

Acosta + Ornelas

+ Nola?

Too much? About right?

Pads top 5 after

1- Hassell or Merrill (2)

2- Wood

3  Lesko

4- Rosario

5- Knehr

6- Snelling

 

Still a decent top 5...and Ruiz in SD

The upper levels of they system would be really really thin in prospect for the next couple of years.

To be honest, we can go full rebuild IF SD wins a WS, and I would not care that much.

We need offense to compete with other playoff teams and their excellent pitching.

Bottom line...I don't see AJ trading for Starting pitching unless it's "after" he adds Soto,Bell,or someone else with some Pop.

Wow! That is big money for under performance. Think a few owners are questioning their GM and front offices? Go back a bit and add Rendon to that bad FA list.

So, a cautionary tale in going “all in” on FA OR acquiring players via trade. In trades, most prospects don’t achieve their ceilings but a good number of those veterans added end up under performing.

Not easy being a GM.
