With ABSOLUTELY ZERO depth ANYWHERE in our system now, and most likely very little to spend, don't be surprised if Tatis is our starting 1B next year.

Took Myers and Nevin( 2 totally inferior athletes compared to Fernando) one spring training to become first basemen.

An infield of Machado, Kim, Cronenworth, Tatis.....looks alright to me.

I would imagine that Tatis stays at SS, and Kim slides to 2B, and Crone goes to 1B.

In trying to not be outdone by SD, LAD are in the process of acquiring Gallo from the NYY.

So now the Duds can choose from .150 hitting strike out machine Gallo, or Mendoza line surfing strike out machine Bellinger? Got it.

Dodgers suck!

That works too. Just that there'd be less wear and tear on FTJ's delicate physique😉

Since it appears that SD has no concern about the CBT line any more, why dont we call SF, and work a trade around Snell and Rodon?

A rotation of Musgrove, Rodon, Darvish, Manaea, Clevinger would work for the balance of the year, right?

I understand that; however, if thats the case, the best move is to the grass. I could live with an OF of Tatis, Grish, Soto next season if Profar opts out.

Looks like Hosmer to BOST .. pending per Acee

So WAS was taking most of the balance of this year, and hopefully BOS is as well. And then we hope that Hosmer plays really well in BOS, and Boras convinces him to opt out for FA this winter, and then SD is sitting pretty.

Snell seems to be heating up, and with the Duds still on the schedule for loads, might have to keep Blake the Dodger slayer.

If he's here next year, have him skip ST, have him report to ACL at the beginning of June, and activate him after the break? No point bringing him in any earlier than that- what's the Pads record in games he's started in the first half of either season? 2-20 or thereabouts? No thanks.

Not me. Fernando looked horrible in the outfield last year. Totally disinterested.

Keep him in the infield where he can impact the game more.

Don't see an issue for 2022 (of course without injury) ... with Hosmer gone ... Bell probably gets 1B and some DH with Myers at 1B (never Voit at 1B).

We will see what changes when Tatis returns in 2-3 weeks. A lot may hinge on how everyone performs in those weeks.

I would be comfortable with an INF of Machado - Kim - Cronenworth - Myers with Bell DH ... move on from Voit. Insert Tatis in CF (was not a proponent but in the current mix ... I would go that way). Excellent INF defense and would bet Myers > Grisham for offense.

Worry about 2023 in the winter with a World Series ring.

Except for Game 1 today, Voit at 1B, and Myers at DH.

Probably giving Myers a rest to avoid back to back games in the field, just being back.
