There is a choice of who to play in the OF every game based on who is in the 25 man and there will be until someone is traded.
So until there is a trade Green has to decide between Myers/Renfoe/Reyes each game.My point was that to Andy Green contracts don’t matter.He doesn’t care how much they’re making if it means fielding the best nine each day.

Given this era of analytics and the many interviews where Green speaks of the "collaborative effort" with Preller and the analytics department .... really wonder how much of the daily line-up is Green's call and how much is the analytics department trying to match players vs. ballpark - opposing pitcher - etc?
Not sure Green should get the all the credit or blame.

Not impressed with Mejia so far today!
Twice in the first 4 innings, comes up with Cordero on 3rd with 1 out, and can't get the ball out of the infield!
Still scoreless after 4........

Renfroe will get his AB’s.
Reyes has been hitting the ball well too...just not falling.
Until a trade is made we gotta get them all AB’s.
You would think about now the Indians would be drooling over Renfroe.
Maybe that’s why Reyes is playing?
Need to get some balls to fall to get his stock to rise so he can be moved.

All those foul balls really hurt Paddack today.
Only allows "one" hit yet can't get through the 4th inning.
Because he has such great control and is around the plate all the time these ML hitters can just keep fouling
these pitches off until he walks them or makes a mistake.
It's gotta be aggravating for Paddack....minor league hitters were a bit different.
