If Brad Hand doesn't pitch so far this year, we're 4-4.
He'll get better or Green will certainly not hesitate to remove him from his 9th inning spot.
I'd like to see Headley remain on the bench while Spangenberg and Villanueve get as many at bats as possible.( Still can't believe Preller took on 13 million to get Mitchell. We have much cheaper options available.)
Anyways, the boys are looking alright early on . 500 season here we come!😀😘

Wow the defense has really let us down. With the 3 unearned runs today we now have 11 unearned thru 13 games when the national league average is 3, must be on pace for a record

Ahhh, remember way back in the halcyon days of yore when they improved the defense so much heading into 2018. Yeah... those were great times!

Just imagine how many errors we would have if we didn't get Galvis or have Hosmer picking it at first.

Eric Hosmer's defense thus far at first base has been pretty atrocious. Even if you don't put the blame for the pop-up on him.

The throw from Hand he dropped was, to me, the ugliest play I've seen from the team so far this year. And that's on a team that has Jose Pirela playing in the outfield (and, of course, the pop-up), so it's a high bar.
He's failed to pick two that, if you believe his reputation is accurate, should have been made.

Brian Mitchell has 3 K's to 14 BB's.
Yikes!
He looks like a guy with great stuff who just doesn't trust it enough to throw strikes.
Not gonna win too many games with a K/BB ratio like that!
