Welcome to the Big Leagues Brett Kennedy.

Yikes!

I don't really care about this particular promotion, but how is it possible for the Padres to consistently have the worst, most boring versions of any uniform, promotional or otherwise? I mean, grey and highlighter yellow? How is that representative of us at all? We've got the exact same uniform as the Pirates? Who chooses this? Who looks at this and thinks "yup, nailed it?"

Use the swinging friar! Use brown and yellow! Anything! Something! It's not THAT hard!

Upon closer examination, the hat actually is pretty solid. The right yellow and the right brown. But why that uniform? So odd.

That is weird.  Feels like they forgot the Pads uni and then last minute just slightly modified the PIT one.  Players weekend is lame anyway.  It serves no purpose except to sell more swag. Oh yeah that's right.

How it is not at least in some form Brown is beyond me.

Renfroe and Reyes putting in their bids for starting
OF jobs next year.

If Myers is still around, there's going to be some competition for all 3 spots.

And with all his injuries, I'd be happy to see Wil in another uniform( or should i say someone else's DL?)

Renfroe is having quite an August so far. Two hits and a HR in each of his last four games. And only six strike outs in his last 39 PA's or last ten games. That's improvement for Renfroe. Hopefully it's a big enough sample size to mean something...lol. Sure is exciting to watch these young hitters seemingly getting better.  Reyes and Renfroe is a lot of fun to watch recently. Sure would be nice to have our own version of the Killer B's" that the Astros had with Biggio and Bagwell and someone else. Can't call them the Killer R's. So what do we call them? Fun to watch might be enough..lol

Myers was sure hitting when he was in there.

Put him at 3B next year and let him sink or swim(hit or get hurt).
