Damn....The Padres are just raking....5 home runs tonight....have some offense
Love the Grandy....these Padres seem to be able to hurt you anywhere in the lineup

TBH I don’t think so.
It was pretty intentional, at least it wasn't a 96 mph
Did both sides get warned?
At least it's starting to look like Davies should be able to go at least 5 or 6 innings now.

Both sides got warned. I really did not think it was intentional with an off speed pitch to the hip. Did not seem that Tatis (or the bench) were upset. Neither Baker nor Tingler seemed upset about the act ... and only mildly concerned about the dual warning.
Umps have been told to act quickly situations that might turn into a bench brawl ... really don’t want that this year. More precaution by the umps than maybe necessary.

Only 31 more games like this and in the playoffs!
At least for now ... we should be given some credit to Easley, Dickerson, Kirby, and Tingler (and Preller) in assembling this line-up and getting them rolling.
2019 worst OBP, terrible K%, and a lot of solo power. 2020 the new guys (Grisham, Cronenworth, Profar) have changed the overall feel of the line-up .... Myers is a new man ... Machado is not looking more like the player they signed .. and Tatis is better in plate displace and (if you have not noticed) in his defense (credit Dickerson) plus Hosmer has altered his approach.
That is a huge makeover in one year .. with half the same key bodies. Coaches getting through to the players in a way the previous group did not.

If Davies and a RP take care of this game ... and with an off day on Monday .... Padres should have the full arsenal of RP for the game on Sunday ... which was destined to be a “bullpen day” anyway.
Then everyone rested ... and the starters with an extra day rest ... heading into the next set of games.
