Love the reps Morejon and Patino are getting. Morejon isn't that far off. Very good potential. If the Padres are going to use a five man rotation, let's see if he can build off those two starts. Not bad, but obviously need to improve the results. Encouraging.

Amazing defense and solid bull pen work. Greinke is a piece of work, but we still got 3 to tie it up on him. Well deserved day off tomorrow.

I was watching the ESPN feed. Was it Orsilo/ Grant that mentioned it or Ravech/ Perez/ Sutcliffe?
I was watching San Diego feed on MLB Network, Orsillo and Grant Talked about it and how Coleman was most proud of his military service , more than baseball . Very nice conversation

I think the idea behind Morejon and Patino was not to let them face an order twice. Morejon looked like he settled down in the 2nd before being removed.
You can also think it is better to remove a pitcher one batter too early than one batter too late. Quantrill was the only one I was surprised about. Thought they might have him go 2+ innings. Also surprised that they were holding onto Strahm and Johnson
