Quote from fenn68 on April 1, 2019, 11:39 amHard to know who is injured / left in XST to work on X at this point ... so should expect some "adjustments" in the next few weeks.
Surprise omissions are Naylor, Quiroz, Baez ... and even for me Giron.
Other interesting moves have Cordoba in AAA (starting SS now that Guerra is in LE?), Ona making it to AA, Guerra in LE (even if being converted to a RP), and Belen in FW (another RP conversion project).

Quote from David Jay on April 1, 2019, 2:45 pmNaylor and Quiroz are both in El Paso.
Baez is not yet throwing and no specific timeline for being ready to go. (Hernandez, on the other hand, is about to get to game action and should be to Elsinore a little before Espinoza if the next return to the mound for Anderson gets him back on track.)
Cordoba is not in AAA. He's also rehabbing in Peoria, but should be ready to go relatively soon. No guarantee on where he lands.
Guerra has not been added to the LE roster. While he's likely to head there once he's worked up in XST, that's not set in stone.
And yes, Washington is the #2 catcher in Elsinore to open.

Quote from fenn68 on April 1, 2019, 4:03 pmThat was a quick update to the EP roster on the MiLB website.
I now see Naylor and Quiroz at the expense of Cordoba, Panas, Powell, and Dickerson. Since I like Dickerson .... status?
Also heard that Mitchell cleared waivers and is going to EP.

Quote from poolie on April 1, 2019, 8:25 pmAlso MIA from the opening day rosters: pitchers Chris Huffman, Kyle McGrath, Kyle LLoyd, TJ Weir, Hansel (& Fernando & Paco) Rodriguez, Chris Rowley, Fred Schlichtholz and, if anyone still cares, former 2rd pick Austin Smith.
Ruddy Giron and SS Chris Baker also missing, in addition to Boog Powell, Panas, Cordoba and Dickerson mentioned by Fenn above.
Any updates on these guys would be great, thanks

Quote from David Jay on April 1, 2019, 8:51 pmGood eyes, poolie.
Hansel is was dealing with more health issues this spring. My understanding is it's different than his elbow problems last year, but don't know timeline.
The others are all in limbo right now. Waiting for a confirmation on the XST roster.
As a reminder, with Wisler's acquisition, there's another move coming, plus any corresponding move in EP required should Brito clear waivers.

Should be a good fit for Amarillo ... switch hitter who can play all the OF slots. Probably not a ML prospect but good for making the AA team better. Already 24 (today).
