DSL Padres went 9.2IP of 2 hit ball and took a loss without giving up an ER. That sucks.

Hudson Potts looking more and more like our 3B of the future.
K/BB ratio “much” better than last season.
Power numbers still improving.
We need a guy for the next 2 years and then hopefully Potts is the guy.

What I like about Potts so far is that he is continually showing improvement ... started FW slow and finished hot .... started LE slow and is showing significant development. Cautiously optimistic ... but a long way yet to ML quality.

I love Hudson, but he has holes in his swing that I fear will get exploited at higher levels. His development curve though is very intriguing.

So apparently Weathers signed for slot value and the entire Padres' interwebs is up in arms because he was supposed to sign for under slot value. Who cares? Preller got his guy. Now sign who you can and lets move on

LOL....The kid gave up a college education so who says he was supposed to sign anything for under slot value ?
It was either pay him or lose him....people are idiots
