Saw some "interesting" commentary on Keuchel and the potential for him signing after the draft (post- comp pick).

One report suggested that Keuchel will still push for a multi-year deal and not just a deal for the rest of the season to hit FA again. Also, it is HIS idea while Boras recommended the one-year approach.

Money / length is always the debate ... but if all those analytical types in ML front offices have already recommended against Keuchel based on his declining peripherals ... why would that change in June?  If Keuchel holds his stance for a long term deal he may be sitting out 2019 which actually may be better for him if (without a legit ST) he can't deliver if he showed up in the 2nd half of 2019.

Because of that contract he signed and the drop off in,especially,batting average,we tend to forget how dominant Albert was his first 10 years in this league.

His production has become "average" but man,he completely dominated for a decade.

ManRam(higher if not for PED's)
