I've always liked Travis. For some reason, AJ doesn't. Shame.

Is anyone else sick and tired of this stupidity? NOTHING ever comes of this-benches clear, pens clear, guys push, shove, yell- NOTHING!

I propose an NBA style rule- ONLY players on the field can participate in the "brawl". Anyone leaving the pen/bench gets an automatic 10 game suspension.

So unless you've got the bases loaded whilst your at the plate( and who in the hell is going to throw at a batter with the bases corked?!?!), probably not going to be " charging" the mound.

And if a pitcher EVER hits a batter above the shoulders, he gets a flagrant 1. It happens again, he gets a 50 game( that's about 10 starts) suspension.

Throwing at guys is just dumb, and head hunting is ....well....Will Smith-esque. No place for it anymore.

What say you?

Nationals right-hander Mason Thompson was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right biceps strain.

Patiño left in the first inning of his season debut on Monday against the A's with a left oblique strain.

Despite the annual complaints about ST being too long … this year’s shortened ST seems to be taking its toll on a number of pitchers even if they contended they prepared for this in the near off-season.

I expect someone will end up doing an analysis of volume and type of injuries this year vs previous years … so for now just a gut feeling.

Matt Brash put together a nice start in his debut today. That trade is looking real bad.

According to wikipedia ...

On September 17, 2020, Brash was traded to the Seattle Mariners as the player to be named later for in a previous trade for Taylor Williams.

It seems classic that Paddack's first start for Twins is vs Dodgers ... and he gets hit in first inning ...
