He is the best at missing bats amongst Groome/Wethers and him.. his k/9 is solid and dude has performed well when asked to at the MLB level

If we were to trade Hader...could we get SP Kyle Muller and 3B/OF Justyn-Henry Molley from Braves?. Both ready to see MLB action

Hard to trade with someone you expect to see in the post season
I am not saying we are or aren't trading Hader ..but IF we did its going to be to a postseason hopeful team.. not a dog... I like the idea of a completely dominant 8th/9th for 2023.. but also the idea of adding cheap controllable ready for MLB prospects for the beyond ..ultimately AJP has a road map to the "puzzle' for 23 and beyond and in AJP I trust

Another possibility looking at how thin the BP FA market is this offseason.. can a Garcia (frees up $3.5) trade net us a useful piece elsewhere? Even if it's a AA/AAA spec say OFer with an ETA of 2023..?? Again IF we have a limit on Spending .Garcia $3.5 + Alfaro $3.6 proj.. all of the sudden open up $7.1 mil between them..one by trade ..one by non tendered.. IF $$ is not an issue and Siedler doesn't care about CBT..then God have mercy on the rest of the MLB ..But if he does maybe a Garcia trade is a good way to add assets and $$ to our offseason plans

I'd like to see the voting breakdown between Arenado and Machado for the Silver Slugger. Their stat lines are nearly identical with Manny holding the slight edge imo. I'm not saying he got screwed and I'm obviously biased, but I think Manny deserved it.

I dont understand that one..Manny was better on almost every line item..played 1 1/2 months in pain on one leg and played in the worst hitters Park in the MLB.. its puzzling truly

Wonder if AJP moves Hader now?.. if he can get one of the SP from Marlins straight up for Hader .. why not?
Keep telling you guys there is no way AJ is paying $14 million for a closer( absolutely shocked he's paying $9 million for Suarez!) so this really comes as no surprise.
I'm sure someone will give us something in return for Hader. Gotta start rebuilding our farm.

Dude was lights out but has ONE year in the league and is about to be 32.
I will be shocked if he’s pitching at a high level at 37 so this is the ideal case of hoping he pitches so well he opts out at ……..35

The ONLY way this makes any sense is if AJ already has a deal in place for Hader.
Even then…2026-27 will likely be regretting this one.

Age not a factor for Suarez ..his arm and IP on it are like a dude 25yrs old.. he hasn't pitched that many innings in Mexico/JPN .. not to mention no minors ..
