#Padres and #Mets have made Kodai Senga an offer spanning 5 years, per source. Another team has offered 6. #Padres offer has highest average annual value.

Walker signs with PHI, 4 years for $72M, AAV of $18M versus the $13M guess by MLBTR.
SP is getting expensive.

Guys like Boyd and Gibson getting 1/10 deals really set the tone early. Hell, even some of the early RP deals have made the Martinez/Suarez contracts look like bargains.

We’ve lost Bell,Myers,Drury,Profar,Clevinger,Manaea and Pierce Johnson from a playoff team and to this point haven’t replaced any of them.
Something has to give soon.

I was thinking (and hoping) we'd see Pierce Johnson back. I'd be surprised if we didn't have at least a couple more reunions, too.

When the dust settles, I believe the Dodgers will lose far more players from their NL West dominating team than the Padres. Pierce could come back, but RP is not an area of weakness; if we find a taker for Garcia, that could be a push. More likely we'll see a Myers reunion; Drury and Profar may have priced themselves out of that scenario.

Sounds as if PHI is striking again, signing Strahm to 2 years for $15M.

We've only loss Bell and Clevinger just to be clear
