Brantley, no way he is leaving HOU. Too easy for him to hit there.

Quote from Jeremy Hill on November 19, 2022, 4:58 pmIf I remember right he just gave him his honest opinion of his time with the Cubs which was that he enjoyed it. That got turned into a joke about Yu costing the Padres Suzuki.

Quote from MrPadre19 on November 19, 2022, 5:11 pmMy “realistic” ideal lineup:
Kim-SS
Tatis-RF
Soto-LF
Machado-3B
Brantley-DH
Myers-1B
Cronenworth-2B
Nola-C
Grisham-CF
Darvish/Snell/Musgrove/Senga/Martinez
If we sign Abreu he takes Wil’s spot….but then who’s DH and the LH bat we need?

Would you advice a "hitter" friend of yours to play at Petco for Pads?... Now Pitching is a whole new game.
Also I didn't realized Hideo Nomo was part of the Padres Front Office..as is Chan Ho Park.. looks like we have JPN and KBO covered
Found both as well as others while scrolling through Padres.com

For the reasons you dont like the idea of Tatis in the leadoff spot. I have reasons why I dont like Kim in the lead off spot, especially against RHSP. Brantley makes me nervous coming off a second shoulder surgery at 36. And I dont like Myers as an everyday guy, he needs to be part of a platoon and very, very cheap contract.

That is possible with them reducing the AAV for Tatis by about $3MM due to the suspension (for now have to assume they are right).
So, Padres are done?

Sportrac has us at $206?
