Other than leaving Hill in a little too long last night I’m not sure how this is on Tingler?
The offense just didn’t perform.
Adams didn’t get the job done today….neither did Darvish really.
The Mgr. Makes decisions…sometimes good sometimes bad…..but the players still have to perform.
Either give the Marlins pitchers the credit or blame our offense for not getting it done.

The team underperforming is on Tingler. The lack of hitting is on Tingler, the abuse of the bullpen is on Tingler, the lack of starters going deeper than 5 is on Tingler, the terrible base running blunders are on Tingler. Ultimately, the way a team performs is on the manager. It has always been this way.
Our winning window is small and the last thing we need is wasting an entire year because Tingler is not up to the task.

Getting Frazier should help the cause. Maybe Preller can work around the problem.

60 games left and not a single one on the East Coast?

Have to think that Frazier gets into action tonight. RH pitcher on the mound for the As tonight.
Frazier - RF, Tatis - SS, Crone - 2B, Machado - 3B, Grisham - CF, Pham - LF, Hosmer - 1B, Caratini - C, Paddack - P.
With Frazier's .324 BA and .388 OBP he is my lead off guy for the balance of the season, and finally have someone on base for Tatis.

Frazier is leading off and in LF … Pham moves to RF … Myers on the bench. Might reflect Frazier’s arm and Myers has a minor muscle injury.

Am I the only one that would prefer O’Grady over Mateo?
I mean….I think we have the infield covered so don’t need Mateo other than his speed….and that has hardly made up for his lack of getting on base.

Yes I realize Mateo doesn’t have options.
Just DFA him already…..you know it’s coming anyway.

Depending on what happens with the trade deadline …. I expect him gone when both Lamet and Strahm are activated and the Padres return to a 14 man pitching staff.
