Robo strike zone can't come soon enough ... today was brutal.

I've been complaining about this all year,  not perfect but should be much more consistent                                                                                                                                                                                                 In today's newsletter from Kevin Acee he showed a you tube clip from 1997 G5 NLCS. Livan Hernandez has a 15 K complete game shutout aided by umpire Eric Gregg’s WIDE outside corner for left-handed hitters. That was the worst strike zone I've ever seen.

This was blatant……that’s the issue.

If he made horrible calls on both sides it would be more understandable…..he didn’t.

This especially hurts a disciplined team like the Padres.

They don’t swing at many bad balls….last night they should have I guess.

I heard that Tingler has said they will send a letter to Commish office ...

I hope that's another piece of the puzzle that will finally get robo umps in place ... it's time ...

Down 3-2….we need some offense!

Spoke too soon!

Now 4-2

Ugh!

Why the He** are they stealing down by two?

The best trade deadline move this team can make is getting rid of Tingler (I know it will never happen).  This team is underperforming.  It baffles me how the teams brass thinks an inexperienced manager could lead a loaded, experienced, and expensive roster.  It’s like giving the keys of a Ferrari to a teenager and expect everything to work out.

Frankly would be more worried about the lack of hitting against one of the worst teams in MLB and without any front line pitching. Everyone was flat.

Add that Hosmer ran through a stop sign and was thrown out at home early in the game … Machado took an extra second to throw to first on a routine ground ball and the runner beat it out and later scored.
