2021 Season

First things first … and Tingler (and the coaches) are secondary to majority of the players are just not hitting to their histories (by a ton). These are not developing kids they are seasoned veterans. In the past 15 days (the heart of the losing streak):

136/191/159 … Hosmer (44 AB)

121/310/152 … Profar (33 AB)

148/258/222 … Caratini (27 AB)

214/283/238 … Myers (42 AB)

229/235/375 … Cronenworth (49 AB)

The same manager / coaches were in place last season and in the beginning of this season when these guys were hitting (and winning) … what causes a mass hitting shutdown? Tatis, Pham, and Grisham can’t carry the club for the season.

After dealing with the Padres ticket office since January about tickets and finally getting it all figured out I drive down to Petco after confirming time , day, ticket package etc and Lo and behold the ticket offices were ALL closed because of a high school graduation.....their response was "Sorry....somebody probably should have told you we would be closed"......Oh well....they saved me alot of money that they WILL NOT be getting this year.

I guess their problems are not just on the field.

How do the Giants keep winning?

Other than Posey their lineup Is so mediocre.

Yaz is hitting .229….Belt .245

Not a single star in that batting order other than Posey.

The pitching is good….but not better than ours.

The only explanation is they string hits together and hit when it counts

You don’t need 15 hits a game to win….you just need 3-4 in an inning a couple times.

I imagine they are similar to the 2010 Padres that really had no one special. Played well as a team. I still see them faltering as the season goes along.

So glad our offense has shown back up vs. Wade Miley.

Since it’s so important to get back on the winning track.

🙄

You’ve got to be shifting me!

This is not even fun any more.

Ugh!

See Hoz……good things happen when you hit the ball into the air!

Hail to the Victor!

Man, did we need that!  Hopefully this will kickstart things.

Never a doubt....gotta believe in something and I believe in the baseball gods. This team, for all of the struggles it has had in June, is still one that can punch a team in the mouth and last night that is exactly what they did in the 9th.
