Messes up the rotation going forward, and might be better to have Darvish backstopping what is likely to be a heavy pen day game 1.

I go back on forth on Darvish ... expect him OK on “normal” or with and “extra day rest” .... so his slot may be selected based on the status of Lamet and Weathers ... just guessing Paddack will be out longer.
Saw Roster Resource (surely on their speculation) set the starters:
Snell - Musgrove - Lamet - Weathers - Darvish - Snell - OFF.
With off days on the 13th and 20th all 5 starters will get lagged a day at some point .. so some rest. With that set-up ... they can afford to not rush Paddack and send him out for “rehab” work to get back into starting shape for a return as the Padres go back into a long stretch of games.
Still ... have to actually see that Lamet and Weathers are truly back and effective.

Watching Snell labor through another short start is painful. Our bullpen can't take 3 out of 5 games pitching at least 4 or more innings. I hope he gets it together soon.

Looked forward to this game all day....apparently no one on the field in brown is interested though.

Blake Snell allowed only one hit along with six walks and four runs.
He basically has given this game to the Giants instead of making them earn it.
I hate walks especially when the pitcher has good stuff and just won’t trust it enough to throw strikes.

Now it’s only a 2 run deficit.
Grisham is one of the few who has hit since he hit the lineup.

Snell is just flat out pissing me off. He goes to the same pitch he can't land 3 times in a row to his last hitter before... surprise, walking him. Just don't understand how someone with stuff as good as his can be THIS off with just throwing strikes.
It has GOT to be mental. He needs to do something drastically different in his approach, pitch mix, something. Just not enough urgency every pitch.
