He's always been good but like Woodruff the Brewers had been shuffling him from the rotation to the Pen and back.
Now they are full time starters and dominating.
But sure....he's due a bad start and there's no time like the present!

Machado and Tatis sitting out today’s game per reports .... Kim 3B / Cronenworth SS / Profar 2B .... Grisham returns to CF.
Machado looked to be “mildly” injured on Sunday ... so maybe that is it. Tatis ... well who knows.

I have a feeling even if Tatis is completely “healthy” we will see him rested quite often this season.
Maybe play 120 games this year?
He's already missed 10 so of rested one game a week that would come in right around there.
But,if he’s able to make it through the season there may be an opportunity to rest him near the end.But we need to build a comfortable lead before the final couple weeks of the a season.

I'm OK with them sitting vs this guy. Rather have them all 4 vs LAD. Tough gig for Kim though...

At least we can get some sleep tonight Mr P. Paddock falls apart again with 2 outs. Burnes might K 20 tonight. We really need Lamet to be almost perfect the way our offense is going. Might be lucky to score 2 tomorrow.

Paddock needs to go to the alternate site after this one. He's just not good enough to be in the rotation right now. He needs to go figure it out at the alternate site or in the minors once the season starts. Can't have him losing games and taxing the bullpen every time he goes out there.

Yep...as soon as they scored those 5 runs I was done.
Usually that’s not enough to do it but with the late nights recently....Burnes on the mound and no Manny or Tatis I didn’t see the point with the Dodger series coming up.
Seems I was right and didn’t miss much.
This old guy needs “some” sleep.

Morejon to undergo TJ. We all knew it was coming but that really sucks. Paddock needs to go to the minors for a while to work on his curve and get some movement on his very staight FB. We may need Paddock to pitch some what average this year after all. I hope Gore is ready because he is next up when we need a replacement. I hope Weathers can pitch later into the game to not burn out the pen.

I thought he would, and he might still (think it might be Ramirez based on how he got used).... but CP did only allow 1 run! Can't hang the L on the SP when we score... zero.
