I did see one report that the HBP total by Adams ties a 1922 record … and still time to take the title.

When Adams is on he is very good with that slider … but when he if off he is just dangerous … and getting the sense that his lack of command is becoming a concern regarding the safety of players.

I will be interesting how long the Padres will live with his command issues … clearly not reliable enough for a closing role.

Snell to the 10 day IL … someone will have to be DFA off the 40 man … maybe Paddack or Snell to the 60 day given the short time to season end.

Looks like the Padres are opting for the veteran “Hail Mary” rather than prospect “Hail Mary”.

Is the hitting coach trying to level his swing?

Cause he will never hit .250 with that swing.
