Did Snell just pull his hamstring?
That's going to be difficult to overcome.

Watching Turner stealing 2nd base here in the 1st is exactly why Tatis should NOT be batting 4th! He needs to ALWAYS hit in the 1st, set the tone.
How does Tingler not get this? He just doesn't seem to understand what/who Tatis is. And if he doesn't now, he never will.

If it is a hamstring (or a groin) pull … that could end his season with only 3 weeks to play.
They might push Lamet back into a starting role … don’t see any better call-up option right now … Knehr? If things are going south … Gore?

I see his impact at lead-off with his disruptive speed but the “other” Tatis is by far leading the Padres in slugging that would be less impactful leading off / coming up after the 8th / 9th hitter … bases empty HRs.
For me the best blend of his speed / disruptive base running and his slugging RBI potential is hitting #3 … if #1 and #2 get on base he is there to drive them in but if not he gets on and is disruptive ahead of the middle of the order.
The real problem is that Pham and Grisham have not lived up to their hype as high OBP lead-off types … and no one else has stepped up. “Hopefully” we see a quick emergence of Abrams in the lead-off role with this elite speed and quality bat-to-ball skills.

“Inner Abductor Strain” for Snell … that could go a number of ways … none good for this season.
From what I read … a “mild” strain takes 10-14 days to begin to heal then healing continues for weeks. A more severe strain can take weeks to begin to heal and months to full recover … sometimes as much as six months.
As a pitcher, that will get repeatedly stressed if he pitches and even if he does, high risk of re-injury (or just ineffectiveness).
So, Musgrove, Darvish, Paddack, Arrieta, and ? Lamet, Weathers, Knehr, Martinez, Gore … or the alway popular bullpen days … not pretty.

Not sure what’s worse….not taking advantage of the Reds playing horrible baseball or being humiliated by the Dodgers.

We need Tatis in a run producing spot IMO.

No.....the point I was making is that we need our best player( read: Tatis) setting the tone from the outset( like Trae Turner does for the Duds) Don't need to bat leadoff to hit in the 1st. 2nd or 3rd would suffice.
Regardless, point is moot: Tingler has created such a dysfunctional offense with his constant changes in the line up, this group doesn't stand a chance with him at the helm.
