I really think giving Paddack the starting nod in our first playoff game in 14 years was a prove it or your gone kind of move by management.
He and his brother coming out and mouthing off I'm sure left a really nasty taste in Fowler's mouth.
Paddack has pretty much buried himself with this first inning. Don't be surprised to see him included in a deal when this season is over.....maybe tomorrow night?

Why in the world did Tingler keep Paddack in? We've got, what, 14 pitchers on the roster?
Jayce needs to learn how to use a pitching staff.

Terrible game....
Paddack shouldn’t have started game 1 or any game for that matter.
Cronenworth ran the bases like a little leaguer
Tatis choked twice with runners in scoring position
Hated bringing Rosenthal in a non-save situation, hopefully doesn’t come back to haunt us
Atleast we fans only had two months invested in this season and not the usual six months. That would have really sucked!
I guess the playoff experience and bad taste in their mouths should be good motivation for next year. Yes, this season is over.

This is not just on Paddack.
Cronenworth with two costly rookie baserunning mistakes.
Plenty of baserunners squandered by our offense that should take advantage.
Meanwhile Josh Naylor is 5-5 with 3 2b and 1 hR and 4 RBI in his postseason career.
