We’re also getting RP Austin Adams.....recovering from ACL injury
Last year he had 53 K’s in 32 ip!

France/Trammell/Torrens/Muñoz for Nola/Adams/Altavilla

Hate losing France and Altavilla is not very good.
I sure hope Nola is the real deal for a few seasons.

Do not like giving up Munoz, even though he just had TJ surgery. Not found of giving up Trammell, I liked France but you have to give up something to get something. I hope this doesn't wreck the outstanding team chemistry this year's team has shown. Let's hope AJ knows what he is doing, at first look, I'm not very found of it. At least the FO is going for it. How much do we have left to try to get Lynn? Go Pads!

We now have a Catcher with a .900+ OPS to go with the other 4 guys in our lineup!

Adams replaces Muñoz and will be ready in about a week.....instead of next season.
Nolas bat more than replaces Frances and will play almost every day.
For that we lose Trammell who we still don’t know if he’s an everyday player.

Nola has to be the real deal (not sure) but he has shown he can hit over his two seasons ... so (if he stays) some stability for a few years at C. Adams sure has the K history and comes with multiple years of control. Altavilla will probably be released sooner than later.
I am guessing that Trammell may not have progress offensively as much as the Padres hoped and Torrens was more ticketed as a back-up. Hate to lose France but he was covered by Machado and Hosmer for a long time and DH is easier to cover. Munoz ... who knows.
I have to see how this plays out ... too many unknowns. Again, Nola has to be the the answer at C.

Not sure I like this one! Nola and Adams are going to have to be very very good, in my opinion to come out ahead or just even on this one. Nola can and will replace France and Torrens, but Adams and Altavilla worth Trammell and Munoz? I'm giving this one to Seattle.
