As far as Hader to LAD 3 way
LAD gets Hader
Padres get Verdugo
BreCrew gets Morejon + Julio Urias + Weathers + France + Strahm
IF LAD give Urias and Verdugo for Hader I would be shocked. Then if MILW got them the would just hold them ... Verdugo to the OF, Braun to 1B and they get a quality SP prospect.
Verdugo to the Padres for Strahm, Morejon, Weathers, France is the wrong mix for MILW as a contender. Plus France keeps coming up as a trade chip ... he has very little trade value and would not be a player to tip the decision on a trade.
Sticking with Strahm and Renfroe as the minimum price. However, if the Padres offered Paddack and Strahm? Maybe Mejia and Strahm?

It seems to be the case that France has no value as a trade chip, but it is weird to me. He has shown prowess in AAA indicating upside, is controllable and cheap, and hasn't been terrible in his first campaign in the bigs. I can't imagine a team, who is less settled at 3B, wouldn't see him as having value.

That's the issue with the PCL in general and El Paso in particular.
Guys look like Hall of Fame players while there and sometimes it just doesn't translate to this level.
No team is going to grade a player based on just his EP production.
Even Hedges hit there....hell he had a .950+ OPS!
IMO it's a detriment to both our hitters and pitchers.
So until a guy like France produces at the ML level,considering he was never a top prospect,he just won't have much,if any, trade value.

He probably is viewed as "useful" in the right situation ... maybe bench or temporary fill until something better comes along ... but not someone a team would project as a regular. A lot of those types around (Padres had them in Middlebrooks, Villanueva).
France was not thought of highly out of SDSU (taken after the 30th round) ... never achieved a high spot on any Padre prospect list (clearly no national top lists) ... just not the guy a team consider an important piece in a trade.
Most scouts see some hitting skills but apparently not enough to project as ML value.

I don't know I think France has 2 X's more value than Austin Allen.. And PCL or not Frances #'s at AAA were the BEST in the PCL.. Not just video game also ran ones.. But #1 BA #1 OBP #1 Sig.. So basically he was the best PCL hitter that has value.. Maybe not by himself but combined..
Paddack ? For Verdugo.. Verdugo by himself can't even get Hader and Paddack > Hader by a mile...

Sounds like a guy we are trying to acquire who is a perennial All Star that had to prove everyone wrong and finally got a break as a 27 yr old rookie.... Hello Whit!

FOR
Myers + Naylor + France + Morejon + Cantillo and Arias
Further strengthen the BP, add another solid SP (frees up Joey for a trade for an OF) cant have enough P and Myers goes back to roots...

Or can use KC Duffy + Kennedy as a 3rd team to get a team like Cubs the controlable SP they are wanting like Joey + Duffy +++ specs for a Bryant type deal.. While dumping Myers in the process

That was not a "serious" suggestion ... but more to focus on the quality MILW would want IF they had Verdugo to deal and the desire of ML impact immediately. A bunch of second tier ML and prospects from a team that lost 92 games will not fly.
Don't sell Verdugo short ... only 23 / 5 more control years and in 2019 (343 AB) rolled out a slash line of 294/342/475. That was a 3.1 WAR for about 1/2 a season from a player that had been tabbed as a top ML prospect.
Not sure you could pry Verdugo away for the LAD ... he is their young, cheap future once they dump the likes of Jock Peterson, Chris Taylor, et. al.

Im not sure about LAD. The ownership has to be feeling some heat from their fan base. Have been steadily reducing payroll, not chasing premier FAs, and while they have enjoyed a nice string of regular season success, the ultimate prize has eluded them, including getting knocked out early this post season. The natives have got to be getting restless, and they have to do something soon. So maybe they will part with Verdugo to get Hader. RP is their biggest problem.
