Who's Trammell?

Reds #1 prospect.

LH hitting OF who has high OBP and can steal bases.

If he’s our new CF this makes a ton of sense esp. if Margot is traded also.

I hate to see the Franimal gone though.

Sounds good!

I got that one wrong!

Reds said they wanted to make a real run in 2020 so Bauer I guess makes sense ... Puig was not in their plans.

Seems like a really good haul for the Tribe ... for 2019 (Puig / Reyes gives them some offense ... pitching is still very good) and then insert Allen for the longer run. While saving $20MM next season. Puig is a FA.

Padres get a 21 year old LHH OF with a good OBP history , some speed, some power (still developing) ... CINN #1 / MLB #30 / MLB OF #8 ... and was a daring of the Futures game. More likely a 2021 arrival. Still just in AA.

I think in this market getting the #30 MLB prospect in a system position of need for Allen and Reyes seems "fair". Both are arguable behind others in the SD pecking order.

Reyes needed to be in AL.

This is best for him also.

Wondering if this means anything to Margot.

Listed as CF in MILB.com.

Also....could this mean Margot to NYM?

I went to MLB and looked at the prospects page, and they scouted as having the speed to be a true CFer. So lets say that by mid season 2020 that we will see Tatis Jr in the 2 spot, driving in Trammel

So let’s bring up Jankowski(open spots on 25 and 40) and put Trammel at AAA.

That should get his bat going!

Might be jumping the gun on how soon he is here and productive ... still adapting to AA ... so would want to see a bit in the Padres organization before dumping Margot / Jankowski ...unless the offer is too good. Could we live with 2020 having Myers / Jankowski in CF and Naylor (or Cordero) in LF and be contenders? Probably not.

Is Travis ready?

Is Travis ready?

Four more hits tonight.

Of course...everyone hits in EP but my guess is he’s ready.

Yep ... he is playing every day (almost) and hitting AAA stuff .... right now the better choice with the defense and speed than Naylor who more would be on the bench since looking like a resurgent Myers is regaining his playing time and Renfroe becomes the everyday RF. Jankowski just give more flexibility for all three OF slots without bouncing the others around.
