Padres vs Royals August 26-28

And obviously he gets 3 outs in 10 pitches in the 2nd ...lol

Keep chip chip chipping away Boyz!.. Lets Go Padres!

Now I know why Campy is no good at C.. he presents a target..then has a tendency to touch the ground with his glove closed and brings it up to catch the ball.. the P have a moving target not a fixed one.. probably something that can't be fixed

But he can hit ... 2 today

Yikes Hader looks worse than Manaea!

Just wonder how one of the best closers over the past few years … stat wise one of the best all time … at age 28 just falls apart without injury.

Really ugly since a Padres (and some hints of issues in MILW).

In his final season with the Padres in 2023 he will make something in excess of $11MM … unless he makes a dramatic turn around in SEPT … no team will trade for him with that salary level … so do the Padres cut their losses and non-tender him then use the “saved” money to add elsewhere?

Hader is now unpitchable .

I am guessing Hader has lost $30-$80 million off of his next contract just off the way he has pitched since he joined the Padres.

By now you guys know my position on " closers".

I'm not even wasting a roster spot on him the rest of the season.

Why not give Kopps a shot? No way he could be worse.

I can't even see him having a guaranteed roster spot on ANY roster going into spring 2023.

He'll have to sign a minor league deal and hope he figures out how to pitch.

Milwaukee OBVIOUSLY saw something that our guys just didn't. They stole Gasser and Ruiz.

He needs to be in the lineup- either DH'ing or C- every day.

His bat just might make a difference in a game or 2, which is most likely what it will come down to in the race for the last wild card.
