You can't have 1/3 of your defenders below major league level and most of your hitters below major league level in OBP( read: too many Sandy Alderson disciples - K or Dong) and plan on winning.

Sure still in the small sample size zone, but in 63 ML innings he has delivered a 3.57 ERA / 1.19 WHIP and the stats were even better in July. That is moving him up the ladder of SP options going forward.

He does seem to have “stuff” to succeed and compared to some of the others seems to have much better (consistent) command. Potential to be a pitcher that goes beyond 5 innings once they let him. Paddack is in the same mode of good command.

I guess going to load up LHH. The one I find hard to see is Garcia in for Urias if a major part of Urias' development as a starting 2B is actually starting.
