Our Catchers need to do nothing but sacrifice bunt anytime they come up with a runner on.
It’s literally the only thing they’re good at with a bat in their hands.

Not surprised Pagan is warming up for the 9th ... bit surprised Strahm is not also warming up for some "insurance" if Pagan struggles.
BIG game to come from behind against HOU and sweep into the end of the 1st half.

The announcers did mention it earlier in the game , then Orsillo talked about how it was great to meet and talk with Coleman when he 1st got to San Diego.
Also other than pitchers we must have the best defense in the league.
Maybe Tigler is a mad genius with the bullpen, he doesn't leave relievers in for 1 batter too many.

Padres WIN ... COLO and AZ lose!
Padres solidify 2nd place in the NL West (and a playoff slot). They are 4 games of the 3rd place team SF.
Also solidly in the #4 seed and will not have travel for the 3 game set.
Half a season to go so need to keep the pace up ... but better to be 4 games ahead with 30 to play than on the other end.
