Soto feels like the most unclutch great hitter I can remember.

Been my position on Soto all year … gets his stats but can’t deliver in high leverage situations …

Ask Kershaw about that statement, he might disagree with you.

Well this is sad. Padres are at least consistent in not producing in the later part of the game. 1 run after the 2nd inning against the worst (#30) bullpen in all MLB. Team cannot come from behind.

Padres in a streak … a losing streak vs bad teams. The clock is ticking.

The exception that proves the rule … career stats show he is “average” player in high leverage. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes.

Sounds like the game will probably still happen, but they're monitoring the air quality in Pittsburgh.

Kerr is recalled as Knehr is put on the 15 day IL (elbow discomfort).

Darvish in PITT but some question he will even be ready to pitch against CINN of Friday.

Beginning to sound as the pitching staff (one of the best in the the NL so far) may be reaching the breaking point and could we see a decline with no reinforcements in the minors.

Guy pitching for the Bucs might as well be Cy Young!

What are the chances of us beating him, down 2-0?

I turned the game off as soon as Martinez came in the game....I refuse to watch any game he pitches in.

We're now consistently getting smoked by the leagues worst teams.....BREAK THIS S**T UP!

Seidler needs to step up and dump AJ....TODAY!

To be fair “no one” is delivering in high leverage situations.

Our biggest downfall.

At least Soto “gets on” if not driving them in.
