First game I watched this year. Easy to see why they suck- these guys are dumb.
ZERO knowledge of situational baseball. 2 EXTREMELY horrible AB's by so called superstars.
Machado and Soto should not bat consecutively.

Swap he and Jake in the lineup until Manny starts hitting.

In Sotos’ defense his greatest ability is his ability to identify a ball.
Problem is that he is better at it than the Umpires…whose job it literally is.
If he had swung and missed at that pitch 8 inches inside he would have been like all the other players who aren’t as good.
It wasn’t even close enough for him to swing at with 2 strikes and a risp.
Electronic balls/strikes can’t get here soon enough….esp. for a guy like Soto.
His value will go up even more than balls are actually called balls consistently.
