Ah, the bullpen continues it’s awesomeness. I swear the next time Melvin makes a good decision will be the first time Melvin makes a good decision.

Doesn’t matter who he calls on….when you can only score 2-3 runs a game the pitchers just can’t be perfect enough.
We score more than 3 runs “maybe” one in 6 games.

Snell artistically is frustrating but his results recently have been good. In May, 3 starts of 6 innings each yielding 3-2-2 ER for a 3.50 ERA / 1.15 ERA … in this era that is acceptable. Add the last two starts in April of 5 innings each yielding 2 ER each and that is a solid 5 game run.
IF the Padres were hitting as they should raking up 4+ runs per game and hitting with RISP … the narrative would not be on Snell.
