Just like with Stammen last year.
Strahms’ era is still just 3.00 because the runs he’s giving up belong to the guy he replaced.

So when Strahm got Dahl,the lefty out.....why does Tingler leave him in to face Story?
Stammen was ready.....someone else “could” have been ready(Quantrill).
Oh....NOW he pulls Strahm after the RH power hitter puts the Rockies back on top!

Probably Quantrill is piggybacking with Luchessi tomorrow,
If that’s the “plan” he needs to understand sometimes you have to deviate from it.
Every game matters and we need to win this one tonight before we can worry about tomorrow.
Maybe tomorrow we are up by 7 in the 4th inning and don’t need Quantrill?

You are completely right Mr. P, Tingler is kind of missing the point of a 60 game season, and handling the pitching staff as he should in a 162 game season.

Well when Strahm started the next inning I was like...what?
Then I saw the lefty Dahl leading off and I’m assuming he will only pitch to him.
He gets Dahl out and Stammen is ready.....and he leaves Strahm in!?
It’s like he doesn’t make the change anticipating what may happen he waits until it’s too late and then reacts.
So then we get the tying and winning runs in scoring position with two outs and Naylor coming up.....me,I would have pinch hit Garcia.Naylor has just not been right.
He fouled THREE straight off the end of the bat then K’d on a pitch in the dirt!

Thank God for Tatis! We would be lost without him!
I think it is safe to say that we do not have one of the best bullpens in mlb.
