Mediocre player or not, I always thought that Profar was a big key to our season, no matter his stats.

There is something that just meshes well with Profar and SD. It didnt show up in COL last season, and he was cut, and when he arrived back in SD at the beginning of September, the Padres started playing better.

Lets hope that cooler heads prevail this offseason and both Preller and Profar realize that they both need each other for success.

The Padres have scored 7 ER off the Dodger's BP last Sunday, and both Freeman and Rojas are out of the lineup. Are the stars aligning for the Padres in tonight's game?
