2024 NLDS Series: San Diego Padres vs Los Angeles Dodgers: Oct 5-11

The first time 2 Japanese starters have ever faced off in the postseason. Add in Ohtani, Matsui and Higgy and there's a lot of Japanese representation in this series. Pretty cool to see being half myself. That being said I hope Yamamoto gets rocked. I'm sure both starters will be on a short leash.

Let's Go Padres!!!

I don't see Darvish on a short leash as long as he is pitching well.

If Darvish can go 6 and finish with Adam,Scott, Suarez would be perfect.

But gotta use Scott when needed against Ohtani even if earlier

The Padres have the best regular season road batting average in MLB hitting .275 avg. whereas the Dodgers are 7th in home batting with a .254 avg.

The Padres have the best postseason road batting average and most HR in MLB hitting .274 avg.  and 7 HR whereas the Dodgers are 2nd in postseason home batting with a .234 avg and is 4th with 2 HR.

Darvish has pitched better on the road than at home. On the road, he has a 2.63 ERA and has never given up more then 3 runs. On the other side, Yamamoto has not pitched quite as well at home as he has on the road.

The Padres have going 21 scoreless innings. They need to get their offense going. C'mon Padres!

Where did the offense go?

These pitchers aren’t “that” good.

Would hate for the season to end with no runs in 2 1/2 games!

Yeah, bats have been brutal!

Game over, series over, season over. Our bats cant come back from two down tonight.

It's over. The season comes to an end.

A wasted brilliant and outstanding performance by Darvish. He did his part and so did the defense. But, the offense did not.  They did not score a run in the last 24 innings.
