2024 NLDS Series: San Diego Padres vs Los Angeles Dodgers: Oct 5-11

Ending this season without scoring a run in 25 innings absolutely SUCKS!

Maybe the Padres need a new hitting coach.

Well, on a positive note for me, Is that, we know, and more importantly they know they are better than this, let's hope they build off of this or next season, which It was amazing by the way.

The first three games they played strong, but then the offense collapsed or should I say disappeared.

Maybe the team needs a new hitting coach or could they have celebrated early after Tuesday's game getting drunk and affecting their play?

AJP need to keep this team together for next season. Despite the loss, it is still a good team and was a great ride this season.

I think a few guys tried to hit a HR every time they went to the plate, going away from what got them into the playoffs in the first place.

It hurts in the moment. It felt like this team was destined to go further. Even though they lost this team exceeded every expectation I had for them going into the season. It sucks that it's over, but it was an incredible ride.

The suddenness of losing a win or go home, series deciding game definately sucks!  However, I agree this team did exceed almost every expectation and was such an enjoyable team to watch and follow.

It seemed that all the bats except Tati & Peralta went cold against the Dodgers at the same time.  It especially hurt that Arraez, Pro, Manny & Merrill (somewhat) all slumped out together.  It also hurt that good Cease didn't show up, especially since Musgrove got hurt against the Braves.  With hindsight being 20/20, letting Game 1 slip away hurt the most.  If the Pads could have held on to that lead, it was a sweep for the Pads.  Also, should Perez have started game 4?

Unfortunately, you have to tip your cap to the Dog-ers. They demonstrated much more fight and grit than in past years and the 'pen was fantastic.  Roberts pushed a lot of right buttons this series.

One would still have to call this season a great succes!  Go Pads!  Go Muts, beat L.A.!

Everyone is leaving Cronenworth off of their bad lists. It seems like he had a K or fly every at bat. He seemed lost at the plate all season.

Probably because no one expected Cronenworth to be an offensive contributor during the playoffs based on his season. The others ... had expectations.
