Rosters (initial w/o draft selections) are out for Tri-Cities and the two AZ teams.

A few "names" missing ... but don't know who may be injured and just not ready to play. (e.g. Coleman #4 pick last year, Bellinger #15 pick last year).

Bellinger has been dealing with elbow health issues. I don't know if he's headed for surgery, but I think it was on the table.

Coleman's mechanics have just been a trainwreck. I think they might keep him back on the desert to refind himself.

(Sorry - I originally managed to edit my response to your question into your post rather than quoting it!)

Yeah tri city seems to have a ton of guys with huge swing and miss issues plus big raw power.

Feliz intrigues me greatly as well and some other arms to lesser degrees.

Unless I’m reading this wrong Nerwilian Cedeno is the only July 2 guy skipping the DR and going straight to AZL, anybody watched him play and what are your thoughts?

David or other;   Thwaits, Feliz, & Omar Cruz look like obvious SP's, but who are the other 2-3?

The first players from the 2019 draft class are placed in TC:

Comp Rd ... Driscoll (C)

7th ... Lehmann (RHP)

9th ... Blanchard (LHP)

10th ... Elliott (LHP)

12th ... Acosta (LHH OF)

20th ... Medders (RHP)

32nd ... Reynolds (RHP)

Thoughts on Travis Radke from anyone who has seen him pitch? I know he's old for AA, but it seems like he's been pretty dominant. Is he someone that could help the bullpen in the near future?

Steven Wilson is another older bullpen guy dominating (3 walks/43 strikeouts in A+ ball).

I wonder if Mosser gets promoted to LE when Gore gets bumped up, his peripherals are very strong though his era is merely decent.

A soft tosser who really lives on the breaking ball as I recall from ST. Sort of the profile that works in the minors but struggles in the majors without pinpoint command.

Noted that Elliott Ashbeck to a 15K performance for LE yesterday.

Yes at 25 "OLD FOR THIS LEAGUE" but he basically missed 2016 and 2017 due to TJ surgery. Pre-injury he was very effective as a RP (2015 - early 2016) in A ball. Last year he returned to LE has again was strong in relief and has been very effective this season out of the pen and this start was more out of necessity than a conversion I would guess.

Not sure about his "stuff" but as a RP who will be Rule 5 eligible (I believe) ... time to push him up to AA to see if he has some real upside. Do think the Padres will have some RP upgrades to consider for 2020-21.
