All three of those pitchers look very promising...let's hope they never send them to El Paso

TJ surgery in 2023.  Missed most of that season and all of 2024.  I liked him when he and Iriarte were dominating at Lake Elsinore and he seems to have not lost anything after coming back from TJ surgery.  He's Rule 5 eligible and with his record this year, may have to protect him or lose him.

He was recovering from Tommy John. He's had an interesting developmental path so far. He was kind of an unknown kid coming out of Canada. He lost some college developmental time due to COVID restrictions. He had a strong showing in the draft league and we took him in the 9th round in 2021. He was showing promise as a starter, but he was also a bit injury prone. They moved him to the bullpen to try to keep him healthy and accelerate his timeline a bit. He looks like a very promising bullpen prospect now. MLB.com has him as our 19th prospect right now. They're supposed to update their rankings on Monday. I think he'll be significantly higher when they do.

Miguel Mendez had a pretty impressive AA debut. 6 IP with 11 Ks. He only gave up 1 hit, but he did walk 4 batters and he committed a throwing error which led to 2 unearned runs. He seems to have a pretty electric fastball slider combo.

His development of a 3rd pitch to at least average level will dictate how far he can go as a starter.  Command has been a lot better this year, which support a lower H/9 IP rate and a higher K/9 IP rate.  SA will be a good test for him and if he performs as well as he has done all year, probably going to protect him on the MLB roster from Rule 5.  At worst, looks like yet another good candidate for the bullpen.
