He was in SD for an entire season as a Rule V dude with Perdomo + Torrens

Quote from onlypads on December 24, 2019, 8:18 amSo I was thinking of Armarillo.
Rotation could look something like: (1) Gore; (2) Patino; (3) Morejon; (4) Lawson; (5) Bolanos depending on who remains with SD.
C: Campusano
Field: Arias, Mercano, maybe Olivares just to name a few.
Will be a lot of fun to watch for those fans.

Quote from fenn68 on January 3, 2020, 5:40 amFrom the SDUT report on Baseball America's new Top 10 Padre prospects for 2020:
- 1. LHP MacKenzie Gore: “(He) has the rare mix of stuff, athleticism, poise and control to be a true No. 1 starter, and few think he’ll be worse than a No. 3. As long as he stays healthy, his major league debut is on the horizon in 2020.”
- 2. RHP Luis Patiño: “(His) stuff is that of a potential No. 2 starter. He’ll head back to Double-A to start 2020.”
- 3. SS CJ Abrams: “(He) has the skills and makeup to move quickly. He’ll open 2020 back at Fort Wayne.”
- 4. OF Taylor Trammell: “(His) athleticism and patience give him a strong foundation. How well he maintains his swing improvements will determine his future.”
- 5. C Luis Campusano: “(He) has defensive work ahead, but his bat is special. He’ll move to Double-A Amarillo in 2020.”
- 6. LHP Adrian Morejon: “(He) has plenty of stuff, but his below-average command and durability draw scrutiny.”
- 7. RHP Andres Muñoz: “(He) has closer stuff, but his health and control are question marks. He’ll open 2020 where he ended in 2019: in the Padres’ bullpen.”
- 8. RHP Michel Baez: “The Padres haven’t given up on Baez as a starter, but his pitch mix, control and health strongly point toward a future in relief.”
- 9. SS Gabriel Arias: “(His) plate patience will determine whether he hits enough to play every day. He’ll only be 20 at Double-A Amarillo next year.”
- 10. LHP Ryan Weathers: “The Padres acknowledge Weathers needs to get in better shape to reach his mid-rotation ceiling. They have challenged him to do so in 2020.”

Quote from fenn68 on January 3, 2020, 5:49 amGood to see on that Top 10 list ... 9 of the 10 will be in AA or higher ... bodes well for 2021 and the years following. Also, all the prospects are on the young side ... no "old" prospects or even "old for their league" types.

Quote from Brian Connelly on January 9, 2020, 5:33 pmHaven't looked at it, but Abrams over Gore for #1 at this point in their developments is borderline ludicrous.

Quote from MrPadre19 on January 9, 2020, 6:27 pmYes this site is about Fantasy value.
I think I’d still have Gore ahead of Abrams but it’s closer than in actual value.

This is “really” interesting.
It’s about Minor League ball players pooling together with other players in case they never make it to the Majors.
If just one succeeds the others get a kick back once that player makes “real” money.
It’s basically like a lotto pool.
Instead of only “one” ticket you have 5 or in some cases even more.
Take a listen.
