As a side note, none of what I was saying was to say that Cron or Hos are terrible (well maybe Hosmer and his defense), but that I would rather take a top 10 prospect in all of baseball compared to the ROY runner up.  I have never been a fan of Hosmer, I think he can be successful if the Padres "hide" him in a deep lineup, when he was brought in to be the guy.  (His .505 playoff OPS wasnt great either)

And Mr. P I know the team with 3 aces is built for the playoffs but in a 1 game series how often does the better team win?  Heck 2 years ago if it wasnt for Grisham misplaying a ball the Nationals would have been out in the wild card game instead of WS champs.  In a 5 or 7 game series, the better team usually wins, but in a one game series?  Thats exactly why I think its so important to win the West, and I think we are built to compete with the Dodgers.
