Quote from BoosterSD on July 7, 2019, 5:23 pmThis just posted on MLBTR, long time Padre farm hand Cody Decker retires from baseball. Apparently Friday night in Reno, he hits a walk off home run and says thats the way to go out. Calls it done after popping a walk off!

LOVED Cody Decker! Good Dude & such a character. I always thought he would've been a big hit in Japan.
Glad he made it to the show, but sure wish he'd gotten a MLB knock & a little more time in the bigs somewhere...

My Cody Decker story is that I went to Spring Training ... was walking by the batting cages ... heard "the sound" that's unique when a real/good hitter makes that pure/flush contact ... looked in and it was Cody Decker ... dude could HIT!

Quote from BoosterSD on July 10, 2019, 9:45 amGreat interview with Decker this morning on MLBXM radio, the Power Alley show. If you can find it online, definitely a good listen. A great dude with a very good idea of what he wants to do with his future. Best of wishes for him.

First thing I notice is this list says Machado is right there along his "norms" and then lists him at #86 behind guys like Alex Verdugo and
Omar Narvaez?
Then they have Christian Yelich behind Mike Minor?
Minor is having a great year....."for Mike Minor",but better than the MVP?
I guess I should just be happy we have 4 guys on this list?
