Holy smokes…..I thought he was washed when he pitched (if you can call it that) for us however many years ago it was.

He started Friday the 8th against the Nats, he went 5 IP, with 3 ER, 5 Hits (1 HR), 4 BBs, 2 Ks with an ERA of 5.40 and a WHIP of 1.80.
Im sure thats not the best he can do, but not a stellar start to say the least.

Thomas is not much of a hitter ... speed / defense guy. Pessimist or optimist?
- optimist sees the LAD desperate for upgrades going after a player being released by AZ ... sign of weakness?
- pessimist see a repeat of LAD magic by taking a poor player ... dropping in their line-up ... and having have he best season of his career!

Dodgers trade for Alek Thomas and then sends him to the minors. Huh? Why trade for him and then send him down?
