I still feel weird when someone that started playing after I started following baseball retires.

Just an interesting observation on ML SP ... 9 of the 58 "qualified" are current or former Padres ... that is a surprisingly high percentage. Base on ERA:
#9 ... Lugo (3.03) ...plus he is #1 in innings pitched at 204.2. Remember before last season some question whether he can convert to a SP
#10 ... King (3.04) ... another RP being converted and with some question
#16 ... Wacha (3.28)
#17 ... Manaea (3.29)
#21 ... Cease (3.42)
#25 ... Eflin (3.53)
#42 ... Gore (4.04)
#49 ... Rea (4.20)
#57 ... Mikolas (5.35)
Nothing impressive about Rea or Mikolas other than they are eating innings and staying in their rotations. However, the others are earning their ML roles with ERA / innings.
