I'm thinking Jurickson is looking for new representation at the moment.
What a bad decision to opt out.
He'd be a great fit as OF 4( he's a better player than Dahl or Engel)

Quote from fenn68 on February 22, 2023, 5:42 pmThe opt out was not the bad decision since he only needed to get a 1 year / $6.5MM deal to break even (after buyout). Early in the off season beating that would have been easy.
the bad decision was setting the ask too high and staying there too long will others signed taking the spots and money. Speculation was he started asking 3yrs / $30MM.

Quote from Randy Manese on February 27, 2023, 8:56 pmGavin Lux' injury in today's game with the Padres sure seems like an ACL tear from what has been reported. We'll probably know more in the morning but Rojas looks like the regular for 2023 because those kind of injuries usually take 8-9 months to recover even if you are not an athlete playing a position that demands a lot of lateral movement. Rojas probably better than Lux defensively but not near the hitter than Lux is projected to be. Like most teams, Dodgers can't afford injuries to players they were counting on. Keep your fingers crossed that nothing like this happens to the Padres' team - we've had more than our share of injuries in the past.

Just announced, Lux will miss the entire season. Tear of ACL and LCL, surgery scheduled for March 7th. Tough break for LAD.
