I dont think any MLB team will touch him this season, thought on MLB on XM is him going to Japan or Korea to start rebuilding his reputation.

Congratulations to my good buddy Nestor, getting his MLB Umpire contract. I know you are going to rock it, so happy and proud of you my friend.
Along with Nestor, 9 other guys are having their dreams come true in getting the ML contracts as well.

Alfaro reminds me of the song " I was King for just one day" .. dude had himself a very "clutch" montage of memorable moments in 2022.. and starts 2023 with a Championship and MVP in the DR.... He is baseballs "Rock Star" cult guy like Meatloaf was to rock and roll

Who knows? Cruz and Dixon show to be busts; Voit and Franmil sign elsewhere. Alfaro not brought up by 1 June - Padres take a chance as their 5th option? A cult hero to be sure - love his energy and enthusiasm.

Clevinger under investigation for domestic violence towards his girlfriend and baby. Another woman that he had children with accused him of similar things in the past too.

So BAL gets a decent innings eater and another P prospect for Rojas.
Good move for BAL, wonder if Preller just wasnt interested in Irvin?
