Toronto just DFA Raimil Tapia ... LHH OF that can play all three OF slots. Most of career was in COLO. No power but decent hitter. Controlled only for 2023 at $3.9MM (est).
Worth a waiver claim? ... likely he does not clear waivers so maybe a minor trade before he clears waivers ... use one of the non-roster RP.

Stone Garrett OF is a head scratching move by the Dbacks ... he would be a nice pickup for SDP

Stone Garrett would be an interesting add. He's got power and speed. His recent minor league numbers look good and he was good in the little bit of big league time that he got. If he could figure out a way to strikeout a little less he could be something.

Jason Vosler could be worth a look too. He hit righties well in a small sample and can play the IF and OF corners. On a minor league deal he might be able to claim a bench spot.

He is like a Voit with Speed and not as big physically.. 20-30 bombs 20 steals 35% k rate.. but dude hits xbh at a very good rate

The announcements are coming out slowly … not just the Padres. Wonder what the MLB office procedures are in clearing the moves team by team.
Would be hard to believe that Cosgrove was the only add.

It's not.. but I could see a trade or 2 with all the RPs we have waiting to be amnounced..

33 + Tatis =34/40 seems a little lite.. I was expecting 36 to 38/40 ..this can't be it can it? Only Cosgrove
