I want to see a MLB draft trade.. the Padres trade their comp pick #39 along with Eric Hosmer and Rosario to the Washington Nats... as everyone freaks out..followed by ..for Josh Bell...

Well it is Lesko ... huge upside ... will have to wait until 2024 to see what we have.
Maybe under slot.

Deal worked out before the draft? Watching the family shot after the announcement there was a guy in the back row waiving a Padres jersey. Hmmm.

If he is locked into an under slot (very likely) opens up options for #39 and the 2nd round.

Probably their guy from the get go if available but I wonder if they paused at all with Collier there?
May be a signability thing with Collier..…..as he continues to fall?

Collier signabikity at #39.. Pads can take some college dude next at $1mil under slot .. then use $$ from #15 (under) and the 2nd rd pick to make Collier a skip College offer..
